At Franklin Park Stone Oak we understand the special needs associated with Alzheimer’s and other Dementia-related disorders.  Our memory care program, Refreshing Waters, was developed based on the history of the area and how early settlers felt the waters in this region gave them special strength.  Inspiration, beauty and hope are the true reflection of Refreshing Waters.  Providing residents an environment and lifestyle that supports and enhances their daily routine, is what sets us apart from others.

The abundance of natural light, warm and inviting colors, as well as bright and open congregate spaces, provide our residents with a homelike and intimate setting.  The well-planned neighborhood enables residents to recognize frequent destinations and aids in preserving dignity.  Embracing the beauty of the outdoors is a freedom that can be enjoyed everyday with our two large and secure courtyards.

The country kitchen allows culinary smells to permeate through the neighborhood signaling to residents “it’s time to enjoy a meal with friends.”  We endorse healthy choices, a variety in menu options, and dining independence for as long as possible.

Refreshing Waters encourages and honors each person while providing the necessary care. Individual care plans are customized to meet the needs of each resident.  We always see the person first, then the disease.

Our life enrichment programs serve as the foundation in providing a daily routine that stimulates our residents.  We learn each person’s life story, spiritual beliefs, culture, values, health, hobbies and retained abilities.  We strive to provide exceptional daily experiences that will add value and joy to each day.
